TRAINER CERTIFICATION: Level II

This course is designed to improve the skills of current trainers interested in becoming an advanced Melco Certified Trainer.  Applicants must be in good standing with Melco and completed the Level I criteria to be certified as a Level II Trainer. 

This program teaches the proper use of basic digitizing operations in DesignShop software.  It covers sequin operations; editing and digitizing techniques; and troubleshooting labs for common problems in embroidery applications.  The training provides opportunities to practice using labs to demonstrate common industry techniques. 

Currently, this course is combined with the Technician Certificaiton for Level II (please see the Tech - Level II description).

After completing this course you will have learned the following:

DesignShop digitizing basics
DesignShop sequin operations, editing and digitizing
Troubleshooting labs (thread breaks, small lettering, puckering and registration)
DesignShop and AMAYA OS advanced Features

To be certified as a Level II Trainer, you will be required to demonstrate your abilities by completing this two day course.  After three months of practicing the skills you learned, you will be required to take a written test before you will be eligible to teach at this level.  A Melco representative will interview you to identify your skills and understanding of the requirements.
