PRECISION MEASURING DEVICES

The precision measuring devices, known as “fixtures”, are available only from Melco. These fixtures are used by the student during the technical training course LAB exercises to inspect and adjust Critical Measurements on the AMAYA product family embroidery machines. Melco offers each person that enrolls and attends any technical training course a student discount towards the purchase of the fixtures required to complete the technical training courses. It is not “mandatory” that each student take advantage of this price discount opportunity to purchase the fixtures. Some students may chose to use classroom supplied fixtures during the technical training course. It is important to mention that the student discount for the fixtures can only be exercised during the technical training course and 30 days after completion of the technical training course.

The fixture inventory is “mandatory” for all students that intend to service Melco products as a Contract Technician and for those that intend on pursuing Technician Certification Status.
